Biomethane Organization’s Forum + Study Tour
The 2nd Forum of the Polish Biomethane Organization + Study Tour, featuring a comprehensive programme, insightful discussions and important declarations has concluded with great success. Around 200 participants from up to 180 companies attended the event. The Polish Biomethane Organization extends its heartful thank-you to all the participants and speakers who attended the event.
The 2nd Forum of the Polish Biomethane Organisation was officially opened by Michał Tarka, the Director General of the PBO. The Forum’s special guest were: Miłosz Motyka – Undersecretary of State, Ministry of Climate & Environment, Andrzej Grzyb, Chairman of the Parliament Committee for the Implementation of the European Green Deal, Agnieszka Ozga – Director, Energy Transformation Division Gaz-System, Tom Howes – Advisor, Green energy transition and energy market regulation, DG ENER, European Commission.
The Forum consisted of five thematic sessions: “Biomethane landscape in Poland and in the EU”, “National experiences from the biomethane leading countries”, “Biomethane business opportunities”, “Quality of production and injection”, “Fast tracking developments”.
The presentations, discussions and panels were extremely inspiring and made a valuable contribution to the development of the biomethane sector in Poland, thanks to the commitment and expertise of the following speakers:

The moderator of the Forum was Wojciech Jakóbik. The third and fifth sessions were moderated by Katarzyna Zamorowska.
The second day of the Forum was dedicated to a study visit at the Wicie biogas plant, which belongs to the Polish Biogas Group of TotalEnergies.
The honorary patronage of the event was taken by: The Ministry of Climate and Environment, The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management, Marshal of the Masovian Voivodeship, Andrzej Grzyb – Member of the Polish Parliament, Marshal of the Greater Poland Voivodeship.
