Without biomethane, Poland’s energy transition will not be complete. Poland is a region with high potential for local production of this sustainable and renewable gas. The development of the biomethane sector will contribute to enhancing Poland’s energy security, decarbonisation and will help boost rural growth.
About us
The Polish Biomethane Organization (PBO) was established on 6 September 2022, gathering industry experts and representing companies active in the fuel, energy and district heat sectors in Poland.
- We advocate for the development of the biomethane industry in Poland.
- We support the interests of company members at the national and international level.
- We promote the positive impact of biomethane production on reducing Poland’s dependence on imported fuels.
- We aim for energy security by building a strong and robust biomethane sector.
